Xodus Vault is a record-keeper, not a bank: your money stays with your treasurer or in your stokvel's own South African bank account. We keep the records clear and permanent.

Does the stokvel app hold our money?
No. Xodus Vault never holds, moves or pays out money. Members keep paying the treasurer or the stokvel's bank account as usual, and the treasurer records each payment so everyone sees the same book.
Is it really free?
Yes, for stokvels of 9 members or fewer. Bigger groups pay a small monthly fee from the group pot, shown on the pricing page before you commit.
How do members join?
Create the group, then share its invite code in your WhatsApp group. Members sign up with their email or phone number and enter the code.
Can we change whose turn is next?
Yes. The rotation is visible to all members, and when two members swap turns the swap is recorded so nobody is surprised at payout time.
What if someone pays late?
Each member's status shows who is up to date and who is behind, so the committee can follow up with facts instead of arguments.
Can a wrong entry be quietly deleted?
No. Changes to money records are kept in a permanent history, so a correction is visible and the original entry is never erased.
Do we need written rules?
